Abstract and Texture
October 28, 2012. To say that I had fun with this assignment would be an understatement by, well, by a lot! I'm going to post too many photos as usual, but for some of these, they will need to be bigger and/or to have some explanations. I used the liquify filter quite a bit and I did a lot of things with the curves tool, the lasso and the crop tool in Photoshop 6. I am including all of the "before" pictures. In some cases there is a middle and/or more than one "after." "Invert" is fun to do too sometimes. My favorite is my "supernaturally haunted" Walker Park (Shelton, WA).
This is absolutely ridiculous! Happy Halloween! By the way, "Happy Halloween-Ween" is from a line from that show, I think it's called The Neighbors, or Neighbors or something, about aliens trying to fit in. It is hilarious. I don't have a whole lot of time to watch TV lately but that show did make me laugh.

Okay so that's the track of the construction bulldozer that was next to my house, the extreme makeover of my cello and the deer that went through our backyard and was behind our neighbor's house. Upper right is the deer after going through way too many filters, just for fun. At lower left is the photo I started out with.
