Media 175 Week 9: P a n o r a m a
I took these photos in Shelton. That's the town to the left, Oakland Bay on the right. This week's tutorial and the Tom Ang text helped me put together a panorama. With the tips I learned it was easier than I imagined it would be to put it together. Photoshop 6 is fairly quick too.
I took these photos of Hood Canal at the park north of Potlatch in Hood Canal. I used Content Aware to get rid of the fence and the lens flare.
Above: the Skokomish Valley in Mason County as seen from Eagle Ridge above Purdy Canyon.
Above: Skokomish Valley. If you drive there, look out for the puddles this time of year, some of them are pretty deep on the road and they will pull your car around so slow down. The land is very fertile and the valley is covered with farms though a lot of old trees have been left standing. An artist friend of mine from the area liked to imagine wood nymphs and fairies could live here. Yes, I used content aware to remove the yellow sign.
Above: Skokomish Valley. For this shot I literally just turned around and faced the other direction as from the previous shots, and shot a few more.
